News: “Raising the status of software in research - A survey-based evaluation of the Software Sustainability Institute Fellowship Programme” by Shoaib Sufi and Caroline Jay is now available as a PeerJ Preprint

The Software Sustainability Institute (SSI) is a national facility in the UK for cultivating and improving research software to support world-class research. Since 2012 the institute have been running a fellowship programme. The fellowship programme supports researchers in adopting and promoting activities within their area of research that assists with software sustainability.

The SSI has recently published a survey assessing the impact the fellowship has had on the fellows, their careers, and their institutes. More information can found on the SSI website:
