I am a Group Leader at Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany.
Additionally, I am a PAL in SysMetEx project (Integrating Modelling of Metabolism and Signaling towards an Application in Microbial Ecology and Biomining) which is a part of the ERASysAPP (ERA-Net for Systems Biology Applications). I consider being a PAL as a valuable link between experimentalists and modelers. To me, this role strongly contributes to all aspects of data handling in systems biology.
My research interest corresponds to proteomics of membrane proteins. Particularly, my research group involved in the studies corresponding to the: development and optimization of alternative separation methodologies for membrane proteins; development of new methodologies to monitor changes/physiological adaptation in the membrane proteins under different growth conditions or for different bacterial strains.
